In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of Section 1 of the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948 (34 of 1948) the Central Government hereby appoints the 1^st September, 2016, as the date on which the provisions of Chapter-V and VI (except Sub-Section (1) of Section 76 and Sections 77, 78, 79 and 81 which have already been brought into force) of the said Act shall come into force in the following Districts in the State of Madhya Pradesh under the jurisdiction of Sub Regional Office, Bhopal where the Provisions of ESI Act, 1948 are already in force:-

* Implementation under Sub section (3) of Section 1 of ESI Act,1948 in the entire area of Partially notified district of Chhindwara and Singrauli, Sehore (which was notified earlier by notification available below on 1^st February, 2017) in the State of Madhya Pradesh shall be effective from 01.01.2023(Link) and 01.02.2023 respectively (Link).
